Bromstone Primary School

Term 6

It's the final term of Year One and we have lots of exciting learning and experiences in-store!

The whole school Big Question this term is...

Is it Better to Adapt or Stay the Same?

And Year One's Big Question that will guide our learning is...

Do Dinosaurs Still Exist?

In English this term we will be creating fascinating fact files about our favourite dinosaurs. In maths, we will be learning about numbers from 50-100 and how to partition them into tens and ones. Later this term in maths we will be learning about time!

In science we will be developing our scientific knowledge of plants and using the different skills we need to use as scientists including observation and fair tests.

We also will have our RE week in which we will be visiting a local place of worship.

Please continue to read with your children regularly. Library books are changed on a Tuesday and phonics books on a Thursday.

We love to celebrate Home Learning so please enjoy these ideas you may wish to do at home.

Please come back soon for photos of our learning in Term 6...
